【Performance and Application】
1. Soluble in alcohol, propylene glycol, cottonseed oil and mineral oil, with good emulsifying, wetting and dispersing ability, OV-10 and OV-24 are easily soluble in water.
2. It is used as a softener, lubricant, solubilizer and emulsifier in the production of cosmetics for the production of astringent creams and astringent lotions; it can be used as a solubilizer for brominated acids for the production of lip balms and liquid balms. For formulating foam baths, shampoos, cold perms, depilatory agents and hair straighteners.
3. It can also be used as oil-soluble spreading agent to prepare transparent gel with mineral oil, isopropanol ester, refined oleyl alcohol and water. In the pharmaceutical industry, it is mainly used as an emulsifier, lubricant and solubilizer for the manufacture of emulsions and creams.
4. It is used as an emulsifying wetting agent, a heavy-duty cleaning agent, a dispersing agent in the rubber industry, and one of the components of an oil spill dispersing agent in the petroleum industry and environmental protection industry.
