【Performance and Features】
1. This product is dispersed in hot water, soluble in general organic solvents, and has strong emulsifying ability.
2. The chlorinated paraffin emulsion prepared by this product is delicate and stable, and can be widely used in metal processing and flame retardant industries.
【Application】
Add 11 parts (parts by mass) of chlorinated paraffin emulsifier to 100 parts of chlorinated paraffin, stir well to obtain a transparent emulsifiable concentrate; while stirring, add water dropwise to the emulsifiable concentrate in batches, add 5 parts dropwise in each batch, at intervals 1 minute; note that within 50 parts of water, the dripping speed must be slow, otherwise the emulsion with particle size will not be obtained; after adding a certain amount of water, the material will turn from transparent to milky white with blue light, and the viscosity will increase at the same time, it should be maintained at this time. The overall uniformity of stirring ensures that the material is successfully phase-inverted from the water-in-oil state to the oil-in-water state; after 50 parts of water, the speed of adding water can be appropriately accelerated. At this time, the material should have passed the most viscous stage and gradually become non-sticky. Thick, blue light appears on the wall; the amount of water can be determined according to the concentration, and finally a white and delicate emulsion with blue light is obtained. (for reference)
